Welcome to Find My Helper, a peer-to-peer (P2P) digital marketplace platform (the “Platform”) consisting of a mobile application and website operated by AMC Corporation (Pty) Ltd trading as Find My Helper, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.
The Platform enables individuals or businesses seeking services (Customers) to connect with independent individuals or businesses offering services (Suppliers or Businesses, collectively referred to as “Providers”).
By accessing or using the Platform in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updates or amendments to these Terms.

Find My Helper is owned and operated by AMC Corporation (Pty) Ltd trading as Find My Helper.
The Platform operates as a digital marketplace that connects Customers with independent Providers offering household and personal services such as cleaning, gardening, pet sitting, babysitting, and other similar assistance services.
Find My Helper does not provide these services directly and does not employ Providers. The Platform enables Customers to discover Providers based on location, arrange bookings, communicate with Providers, and make secure payments through integrated payment systems.
Find My Helper operates in accordance with relevant South African legislation including but not limited to:
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
Website – Refers to www.findmyhelper.info and all associated pages, tools, and services.
Mobile Application – Refers to the Find My Helper software application distributed through authorized platforms including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Platform – Refers collectively to the Find My Helper mobile application, website, and all related services operated by AMC Corporation (Pty) Ltd.
User – Any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.
Customer – A user who registers and uses the Platform to search for and book services.
Supplier – An individual service provider who registers and offers services through the Platform.
Business – A registered company or legal entity offering services through the Platform.
Provider / Service Provider – Refers collectively to both Suppliers and Businesses.
Booking – A confirmed service appointment arranged through the Platform between a Customer and a Provider.
Booking Fee – The platform service fee charged by Find My Helper for facilitating a booking.
Service Amount – The amount payable to the Provider for completing a booked service.
Escrow – A secure payment holding arrangement where funds are temporarily held by an authorized third-party payment provider until service completion.
Account – A user profile created to access features of the Platform.
Content – All materials available on the Platform including text, graphics, logos, designs, images, videos, and software.
Personal Information – Any information relating to an identifiable person as defined under POPIA.
Find My Helper operates solely as a technology platform and payment facilitator connecting Customers with independent Providers.

All services offered through the Platform are performed independently by Providers.
To use the Platform, users must create an account.
By registering an account or using the Platform, you confirm that:
Users agree to comply with applicable legislation including:
Find My Helper may suspend or terminate accounts that:
Find My Helper prohibits abusive, obscene, threatening, discriminatory, or defamatory language within messages, reviews, or any interaction on the Platform.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
The general booking process is:
A booking becomes confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and the Provider accepts the request.
Payments are processed through an integrated third-party payment system via the Platform and placed into a third-party escrow holding account.
When a customer makes a payment via the Platform:
Escrow funds in the holding account are released to the Provider/Find My Helper when:
In the event that Third-Party is authorized to release the funds, Third-Party shall process payment to the Customer (or the Customer’s vendors or other nominated beneficiaries) for any amounts allocated to them at either 10:00 or 15:00 on each business day, subject to applicable banking processing times.
Payments may take longer than 24 hours to reflect in the recipient’s account, as processing times are dependent on the recipient’s South African banking institution.
Providers set Service Fees:
Find My Helper charges the following Booking Fee structure:

R0 – R599 R49 (including VAT)
R600 – R999 10% (including VAT)

Providers remain responsible for complying with South African tax and VAT regulations.
Find My Helper may adjust fees in the future with reasonable notice.
Provider Declines - Service fee only. Booking fee to be retained.
Provider Does Not Respond - Service fee only. Booking fee to be retained.
Customer Cancels Before Acceptance - Service fee only. Booking fee to be retained.
Customer Cancels After Acceptance – Service fee only. Booking fee to be retained.
Additional refund conditions may apply based on the circumstances of the booking.
Once service completion confirmed through the Platform, escrow funds in the holding account are released to:
If confirmation is not received, funds may be released automatically after the defined period.
Providers operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes, insurances (liabilities) and legal compliances.
Providers Agree to:
Providers act as independent contractors and not employees of Find My Helper.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between Find My Helper and any Provider.
Customers seeking services at a certain location and have the method of paying for such services.
Customer then Agrees to:
All Bookings initiated or facilitated through the Platform must be completed and paid for exclusively through the Find My Helper Platform and its authorized payment systems. Users are strictly prohibited from requesting, offering, or accepting payment outside the Platform for services that were introduced or arranged through Find My Helper
Find My Helper may suspend or terminate accounts involved in circumvention.
Customers may leave proper reviews after completed bookings. Providers are dependent on good reviews and the ratings thereof.

Find My Helper reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.
Find My Helper encourages safe interactions between Users’. Find My Helper cannot guarantee the conduct of users. Users should exercise caution and report suspicious behavior to their local authorities. Users should always be vigilant. Find My Helper does not conduct background checks on Providers.
Users may not use the Platform to:
Find My Helper provides the Platform “as is” and “as available”. Liability is limited to the full amount paid through the Platform for the specific accepted booking.
The Platform shall not be liable for:
Users agree to indemnify Find My Helper and AMC Corporation Pty (Ltd) against claims arising from their use of the Platform or violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate accounts at our discretion.
All Platform logos, icons, branding, design, and software belong to Find My Helper and may not be used without permission.

Find My Helper may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or unlawfully activities.
Find My Helper reserves the right to unilaterally update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Find My Helper may temporarily suspend the Platform for technical failures, maintenance, security updates, Force majeure events or improvements.
The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
