Provider Terms

These Provider Terms apply to individuals and businesses offering services through the Find My Helper platform.

By creating a provider account and offering services through the Platform, you agree to comply with these Provider Terms as well as the Find My Helper Terms and Conditions.

1. Independent Provider Status

Providers using Find My Helper operate as independent contractors.

Nothing in the Platform relationship creates an employment relationship, partnership, agency, or joint venture between the Provider and Find My Helper.

Providers are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, licensing, and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Creating a Provider Account

To offer services through the Platform, Providers must create an account and complete the provider profile setup process.

Providers agree to provide accurate information including:

• Name or registered business name
• Contact information
• Service categories offered
• Service pricing
• Service location and operating radius

Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or removal from the Platform.

3. Service Listings

Providers are responsible for creating accurate descriptions of the services they offer.

Providers must ensure that:

• Services offered are lawful
• Descriptions are accurate and not misleading
• Pricing is clearly stated
• Availability reflects realistic scheduling

Find My Helper reserves the right to remove listings that violate platform policies.

4. Booking Acceptance

Customers may request bookings through the Platform.

Providers may choose to accept or decline booking requests.

Once a booking is accepted, the Provider agrees to honour the booking and perform the service as agreed.

5. Service Delivery

Providers are responsible for delivering services in a professional and lawful manner.

Providers agree to:

• Arrive on time for accepted bookings
• Deliver services as described in their listing
• Treat Customers respectfully
• Maintain professional conduct

6. Payments and Payouts

Payments for services are processed through the Platform's integrated payment provider.

Customer payments are held in escrow until the booking reaches the correct completion stage.

Providers receive payouts only after escrow funds are released according to the Platform payment rules.

Providers may be required to complete payout onboarding with the payment provider before receiving funds.

7. Platform Fees

Find My Helper charges a Booking Fee for bookings completed through the Platform.

The current fee structure is:

• R0 – R599 → R49 fixed fee
• R600 – R999 → 10%
• R1000 and above → 14%

These fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

8. Circumventing the Platform

Providers may not attempt to bypass the Platform to avoid applicable booking fees.

This includes:

• Requesting customers to pay outside the Platform
• Sharing contact details for off-platform transactions
• Encouraging customers to cancel bookings and pay privately

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Ratings and Reviews

Customers may leave ratings and reviews after a completed booking.

Providers must not attempt to manipulate, influence, or falsify reviews.

Find My Helper reserves the right to remove reviews that violate platform guidelines.

10. Safety and Legal Compliance

Providers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements relevant to their services.

Find My Helper does not supervise the manner in which services are performed and does not guarantee service outcomes.

11. Account Suspension or Termination

Find My Helper may suspend or terminate provider accounts that:

• Violate platform rules
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Receive repeated customer complaints
• Attempt to bypass the Platform

12. Limitation of Liability

Providers are responsible for the services they offer and perform through the Platform.

Find My Helper is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or performance of Providers or Customers using the Platform.

13. Changes to Provider Terms

Find My Helper may update these Provider Terms periodically.

Updated terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date.
